I am very happy to hear you had a nice summer. I hope your family is in the best of health.

Well, school has started. I am in grade 11 at a commercial school. I am taking the general course (5 years) and I only take typing and bookkeeping in commercial subjects. I get Math<s> (find it very interesting), French, History (ancient history), Geography, Physics, Composition, Literature, and Gym. We get Gym twice a week, swimming once a week, and also a health period during the week. We have ten periods every day which averages out to 35 min. for each class. I was glad to go back.

I am sorry to say I didn’t get you anything from the C.N.E. There wasn’t much there this year. I was mainly interested in the rides. Many of the different displays were not giving out folders or pamphlets. But I am sending you the Newspaper we get daily. It is called the Telegram. Since today is Saturday, there will be a magazine in it too.

Do you watch television? There are some good shows debuting this week on our television. We get shows from Buffalo, Hamilton and Toronto. I enjoy Bonanza, Bewitched, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (especially Robert Vaughan) and Farmer’s Daughter.

Do you get much homework. We get 2-3 hours every night.
